What Our Customers Say
"Absolutely exceptional service! My grandfather's 1952 Omega Seamaster was completely non-functional when I brought it in. The team at Goldsmiths not only restored it to perfect working condition but also refinished the dial to look brand new. The craftsmanship is museum-quality."
"I've been a collector for over 20 years and have used many repair shops. The Goldsmiths LTD is hands-down the best I've found. They worked on my Rolex Submariner chronometer and it came back running at +1 second per day. Incredible precision and attention to detail."
"Professional, knowledgeable, and honest. When I brought in my Breitling Navitimer with a damaged chronograph, they gave me a detailed explanation of the repair process and fair pricing upfront. The 2-year warranty gives me complete confidence in their work."
"My wife's Cartier Tank had been sitting in a drawer for years because another shop said it was unrepairable. The master watchmaker here took one look and had it running perfectly within a week. They even polished out scratches I thought were permanent. Amazing skill!"
"I'm a local jeweler and I send all my watch repair work to The Goldsmiths. Their expertise with complicated movements is unmatched in the area. They've successfully repaired everything from simple three-handers to complex perpetual calendars for my customers."
"Fast, reliable service for my daily wear Seiko. They replaced the crown and stem, regulated the movement, and pressure-tested the case all in one day. Fair pricing for quality work. I'll definitely be back for future maintenance."
Our Heritage & Expertise
Founded in 1987 by master horologist Heinrich Mueller, The Goldsmiths LTD began as a small family workshop specializing in Swiss mechanical timepieces. Heinrich trained under the legendary Abraham-Louis Breguet workshops in Switzerland before bringing his expertise to Reading, Pennsylvania.
Today, his son Marcus Mueller continues the family tradition, having completed advanced training at the prestigious WOSTEP (Watches of Switzerland Training and Educational Program) in Neuchâtel. Our team of certified watchmakers combines old-world craftsmanship with modern precision tools and techniques.
We maintain one of the most comprehensive parts inventories in Pennsylvania, with direct relationships with major manufacturers including Rolex USA, Omega SA, and the Swatch Group. This ensures authentic repairs using only genuine factory components.
