Before bringing your watch in for service, consider these points:

• Note down any specific problems you've noticed (e.g., gaining/losing time, stopping, unusual noises).
• If the watch is water-resistant, *do not* attempt to open the caseback yourself.
• Avoid wearing the watch if it has significant damage to prevent further issues.
• Avoid extreme temperatures 24 hours before your service.
• Bring your timepiece in for a free quote.
